Wasn't it previously a secular socialist state? That pegs the irony up a few rungs, out with secularism, in with Islamicism.

Baldimo has a point. I just looked and could find no credible news source saying anything about most of this stuff.

The "credible" news sources increasingly are behind what some have called the "new" journalism. It will be interesting to see when they finally catch up. In the meantime thanks for the heads up.

Where did I say this was a news source? It's one guy's analysis of the Iraqi constitution, which I found interesting enough to post a link.
