It's traditional for the Vice-President to have a try.

Imagine this statement:


"President Cheney, with Vice-President Rumsfeld (pictured), said today that he was sure that the US had reached a turning point in the war in Iraq.

'With US casualties now close to 10,000 he said that he was sure that the insurgency was 'running out of steam' and a handover to the provisional government would be 'soon'".
