I can usually spot an online scam before I even know the pitch. But just a while ago I got a message on Facebook, allegedly from the Diane who is a member here and who was with Dyslexia. The approach drew me in and I clicked on a link I was provided. But before I interacted with the link, I clicked on Diane's profile picture. That took me to an account with no information, just her familiar avatar pic. So I reported the link. I came very close to letting myself get scammed.
@Mame,
I've seen some pretty bad stuff with used car lots.
@Mame,
There was a man inspecting cars on Main Street. A friend told me his car couldn't pass until he slipped the man an extra twenty. Last time I drove by he was gone. Likely caught by the law.
