Disciplinary action at work

If you get in trouble, do employees have the option of getting their ass beat instead of a write up? Write ups goes in your personnel file and they count against you for a whole year. Getting punched, kicked, and slapped doesn't go in your file and therefore never counts against you. I tried to ask about that at work by they REFUSED to offer me that second option. What should I do?

No. At least, not in any legal/reputable establishment. It might be different if you work for the mafia.
