In political science, only the State or its private agency has the sole monopoly to produce military high explosives (fact).
Terrorist groups have the power to produce high military explosives (fiction).
Low explosives are capable of causing carnage, mayhem, and destruction in properties and lives like the one in London in 7/7. (Massive Fiction)
Our security (all humanity) is in recognising the difference between facts and fiction about political matters and holding our goverments all around the world accountable for every soul killed or lost in the name of the so-called international terrorism.
You should research the Oklahoma City bombing.

Political Science is the study of politics and the operation of government. As such, it states nothing, creates no rules and interprets no physical contraints so your claim of any "fact" is dubious.

Definitely. It's frightening what ammonium nitrate, fuel oil and a detonator can do. I used the stuff when I was opal mining. So you need to go back and check your assumptions methinks.

You say low explosives are not capable of causing carnage, mayhem, etc.................?
Damn, I hate it when people get better drugs than I do??
McGentrix: Good point, but I don't think they smuggled a moving van full of fertilizer and diesel fuel into the London subway...(I guess they could, but it'd be tricky ).
alsatti: fishin's right, poli-sci doesn't really have anything to do with your issue. You're also ignoring the fact that high explosives can be stolen, acquired through corruption (i.e., bribing military personnel charged with guarding it), or supplied by countries unfriendly to Britain.
