This article, if true, is very disturbing. In a war both sides tell lies; it is almost accepted.
.
This is truly disturbing, it reminds us of systematically keeping the population ignorant.
.
Eventually there will be outrage about this.

Has the Bush administration drastically understated the U.S. military death count by redefining "death"?
.
The following article suggests that it has, and it calls for a nationwide campaign to honor deceased service members by naming and counting them.
According to the article: "...DoD lists currently being very quietly circulated indicate almost 9,000 [U.S. military] dead"; this far exceeds the "official" death count of 1,831. How can this be? It's largely because "U.S. Military Personnel who died in German hospitals or en route to German hospitals have not previously been counted."

Not surprising at all. This administration restricts photos of military caskets to be shown in the media, because they don't want the American People to "be offended." Things in Iraq are going so well, they keep telling the American People "we are making progress." They just don't want the media to show pictures about it, nor show and tell how many innocent Iraqis our coalition forces have killed - just what the insurgents kill. That's one of the primary reasons why Muslims all over the world are getting frustrated and angry; because they see a one-sided war being perpetrated against Arabs all over the world. In their eyes, they see unfairness and unequal treatment, while the western media claims "progress being made." How would you feel if you were in their shoes?
