1. The claims of widespread fraud are ridiculous. Sure, I want a judge to look at the claims to see if evidence warrants further action. And that is exactly what they have done.

2. Trump has arrived at cult status. I suspect that 30% of Republicans are true believers, and the other 40% are just following along. I have no way to confirm this, just a hope that Republicans have common sense.

3. You can find "evidence" to support any crazy theory if you are willing to ignore the evidence against it. There are a number of Republicans who believe the Democrats are controlled by Lizard people.

4. If a large number of Republicans have latched on to a crazy belief system, it is not my responsibility to fix them.

5. When my political side has crazy beliefs (and sometimes they do) I have no problem confronting them. The lack of Republicans who are standing up to the Trump cult is a little surprising.

6. Politicians like Ted Cruz are playing you. Cruz understands fully well there was no widespread fraud, and he also knows fully well that Biden will be the next president (unless it is Harris).

7. Cruz and his friends also know the Trump cult is profitable. Getting you all riled up ensures they have an angry base to use to increase their own power. They are raising tens of millions of dollars from you people. This is fine with me because it means less money for Republicanvaises that actually have a chance.

8. What Trump is doing will ultimately be bad for the Republican party. I should be happy about this. But what Trump is doing is also bad for the nation at large. You have turned Trump into a messiah figure, and yet you don't hold him accountable for his own behavior.

The Trump cult paints him as both a powerful savior and a helpless victim. It is a strange belief system.

I always ask myself what evidence would change my mind? This is a way for me to test my own beliefs. There are many things that would convince me there was actual fraud. This includes a court finding evidence of widespread fraud after hearing both sides, or finding actual evidence of suitcases of ballots that is confirmed by unbiased, independent investigators.

The problem with the Trump cult (or with cults in general) is that there is no possible evidence that will get them to change their mind.

Since you are not saying just that you didn't see evidence of widespread fraud, but are making the stronger statement that there was no widespread fraud, please give evidence. I suspect that you have not seen any of the numerous witness affidavits that Giuliani says he has and are simply repeating unfounded assertions you have heard, with no actual knowledge of the subject.

@Rjohnson71,
Joe Biden has explained that no fraud whatsoever has occurred in the election. Google and YouTube have put out memorandums that they will drop people from their platforms if they discuss claims of fraud. Like maxdankona, I get all my facts from Google and believe everything they say, and we know Joe Biden doesn't lie. So this discussion is silly.

@Brandon9000,
What I am saying is that they are "ridiculous"; without merit and worthy of ridicule.

My evidence is that they have been rejected by every court, including by Republican judges and Republican state officials who ran the elections.

If I asked for affidavits that Big Foot exists... I could get hundreds of sworn statements from people who have seen him. Sworn affidavits from true believers is nothing.

I don't know if you have watched the testimony ... It is laughable

@maxdancona,
If you show me real evidence, submitted to a court, accepted as evidence by a judge that holds up under cross examination, then I will change my mind.

The claim (as I understand it) is that Trump, the most popular and brilliant leader of all history is the victim of a massive fraud that includes Republican state officials and the court system.

You guys are being silly.

@maxdancona,
My question for anyone in the Trump side is this...

Is there any evidence that would possibly change your mind?

It seems you guys are set in your beliefs no matter what happens. That is sad

You are pushing a lie and you know it. The fraud is obvious. You cannot be anything but willfully ignorant, but I have a feeling you know but continue to lie. Disingenuous.

BTW, those people that came forward have been threatened and one badly beaten. I guess the Biden boys have to do something when they are not burning cities. Many of those who have been heads of companies, former military, and IT people. Plus a few that investigate fraud for a living.

And you insult them.

@coldjoint,
If I was beaten up because of my political beliefs, I would...

1. Report it the police.
2. Get a lawyer.
3. Pursue my attackers in court.

Of course any conservative who beats me up has his right to tell his side of the story. But I will present my evidence and sue his ass, ad well as pursuing criminal charges.

These crying conservatives with a political narrative and baseless claims that rarely hold up in court.

I am curious who you say was "beaten up". I hope you aren't taking about the Wilcox video.

Then why do you support the people that burn things down when there are legal ways to protest?

@coldjoint,
Ok good, coldjoint.

So if there is a forensic audit of the machines from an independent source that says there is no evidence of widespread fraud...you will change your mind and accept there was no widespread fraud.

Is that what you are saying?

@Brandon9000,
Affidavits are notoriously suspect, primarily because they do not give the court an opportunity to watch the witness give his or her evidence nor do they allow for cross examination.

@Brandon9000,
The purpose of cross-examination is three-fold:

1. To elicit evidence in support of your case;

2. To cast doubt on, or undermine the witness’s evidence and credibility to weaken your opponent’s case;

3. To challenge disputed evidence.

Oh really? How would the penalty of perjury be proven unless their testimony were examined?

Yes. It is the job of courts to decide if affidavits have any value. Until then, the affidavits mean nothing.

In my defense I did watch some of the testimony in given in state legislatures. Some of them were pathetic, others were hilariously pathetic.

Anyone who insists Covid is a fraud should immediately go to the nearest ICU, lick a few doorknobs and toilet seats, then report back in 14 days. Let's put this debate to rest.

You do not tell people how or what to think or what to do. Covid is a hoax, 99.7 survive, and it has been politicized to destroy this country. And it has millions on social media saying the same stupid things you just said.

@coldjoint,
I don't? Or what? Let's try a little perspective. If 99.7% of your penis got cut off but .3 % healed would that mean the injury was a hoax?
