Slappy, they have juice in them so I count them as a 'breakfast food'.

They don't open until 6pm - they save me from myself. Damn them.

Juice? So you're saying the drinks are nutrient-dense?

You're right. It's breakfast food.

I like Hebba's idea, but I'd have to wear a baby blue linen dress and carry a flowery hat...oh, dear, and a camera, and a plate of snacks, plus a little handbag, or else that dress has big pockets. I guess then that I must have a little table and wrought iron chair, but I wouldn't want to be sitting by myself, so now, please, I would like forty tables and about eighty chairs, over by that ballustrade overlooking the lake....

Goodness, ossobucco, how many hands have you got?

At the moment, I've got some Ginger Peach tea. Great hot or cold. Yum.

Osso,You´d croquet the hell out of me for sure but do we need 80 chairs?I mean, what´s going to happen to that caring intimacy a good game of croquet produces?
A baby blue linen dress sounds quite lovely though.

Ok, ok, a few little tables with garden party type chairs. For languid croquet players to dally at.

I sooo want to try a lemon-blueberry-vodka drink. Do we have to wait until it's hot out?

Those sound really really good. We'll have to experiment with our own recipes and report back...

At Fire & Ice, we made a lemon-blueberry-infused tequila, which was very good. It was used in the only margarita I would ever drink with a sugar rim instead of salt. (I love salt. Mmmmmmm salt.)

Now I'm drinking some good tequila (Perfidio) with orange juice. (Trying to use up all the liquor before moving, and there's only so much a girl can drink straight. Trying, but sometimes ya just need to mix.)

You're safe here, but I guess it would depend on what you do. If you start shooting at people or stuff like that, you might be in trouble ;-)

Did someone say Tres Generaciones?

I pulled a sautee pan out of a 400 degree oven one day with my bare hand. It'd sat in said oven for well over 30 minutes. My first instinct was to recoil my hand; unfortunately, the sautee pan came along for the ride. Horrible, horrible burn.

Anyways, that night I bought a bottle of Tres Generaciones. In the morning, I didn't have the tequila anymore... I also never felt the pain from my blistering, ruined hand. (I did, however, feel the pain from my blistering, ruined head.) Always trust Spanish Holistic Remedies: oil on burns; dos tequilas con jugo de lemon for colds, and shitloads of Tres Generaciones for trauma.

---

Wait, this is about cold drinks? On hot summer days, I'm drinking one of three things:

1) Iced Tea
2) Mocha Frappuchino
3) Cold, cheap beer

Hot summer nights?

1) Maker's and Coke (generally 90% Makers, 10% Coke)
2) Chilled Vodka or Vermouth
3) Cold, expensive beer

mmmmmmm......tequila......

You know, I don't usually drink the 'dark' liquors. I'm a gin woman generally. However, I really like tequila and most people I hang out with do NOT like tequila. Maybe I need new friends?

Anyhow, I don't really know much about tequila but I had some Friday - reserve something, who knows it was, it was midnight - and it was good stuff. That initial burn, yummy flavor, yet smooth and forgiving....just like a man.......where was I ? Ah yes - who knows about tequila and can tell me some really great tequila to buy? Enough of the Jose Cuervo, I want the good stuff.

And for those of you who are local, we certainly do not have to wait for a warm day to go to Cuchi. I just need some money. Maybe in a couple of weeks? No elaborate gathering, though. It's not a big place and the drinks are a little pricey.

I suppose tequila could be a clear liquor if your drinking clear tequila. Generally I've only had the dark stuff but that could be because I don't know what to order so I end up with whatever cheap thing they pour me.

If it makes you feel better Gautam we'll have a drink for you and take photos. Very Happy

By dark you mean yellow? I actually like the cheaper (not well) tequila - it has more flavor.

I did a couple of tequilla shots last weekend...I dig it. Although it was "bar grade," which is like razor blades. I don't think I know of any super-high grade tequilla for you, the best I have is 1800, which is pretty good.
