Yup. That's why I put "holidays" in quotes in my post above. As with the covid shutdowns, the essential workers don't get a day off. And many of the holidays are nothing more than a fancy name for Monday. Lots of people regularly work on King Day, President's Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran's Day. Thanksgiving is virtually overshadowed by f*cking Black Friday. X-mas is mainly assessed according to how much money people spend.
