Happy Labor Day 2020! Doing anything special for the holiday?

No one cares about the holiday?

No. No, they really don't. We're in the middle of a pandemic. Many of us are unemployed .. or retired (if they are so lucky). Labor Day is pretty pointless (other then it being a 4 day weekend that not every gets to take the day off if they are lucky enough to be working).

Right. I forgot about the Covid-19 pandemic and crisis.

The pandemic and crisis didn't stop people from celebrating Independence Day this year, at least where I live. I thought that was odd. People were lighting fireworks and firecrackers in public areas and neighborhoods like they were crazy. I hate having to shop on Independence Day in my town in the evening; the streets are like a warzone.

If I may ask, are you doing or have you done anything special for the holiday?

Nothing special. After a paltry 6.5k steps in the nearby cemetery went home had dinner.

Holy Christmas.....You only waited an hour and then started to scold people!!!!! Give it a minute, sheesh, we are in the middle of a Pandemic, things aren't even close to getting back to normal.

Labor/Labour/Laybore Day is more exciting this year as it ushers in a truly magnificent day. The birthday of Sid Cesar, Bernie Sanders, Wiz Khalifa and of course me! I'm fact, it's already nigh on to 1:30 a.m. In another hour I'll be officially olrer! Yay, me!

My Mother would have been 98 0n the 14th of September 2020. She was a lively soul and a ton of fun and a wonderful mother.

When I was a kid there was a re-enactment of the story in the village of Bredhurst with a papier mache dragon.

It terrified me and gave me nightmares for years.

Now you know how I felt when that trio Peter, Paul and Mary sang about Puff the Magic Dragon!
