@farmerman,
I do like Ozark. There were a few competitors which gained my vote instead.

...apologies to Jason Bateman and others...

@Sturgis,
I haven't seen that many shows, so my opinion is weak for many of these shows.

But it is surprising that The Mandalorian (Sci-Fi western about a bounty hunter) is nominated alongside 1other serious dramas.

For Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series, 3 actors from Watchmen are nominated. Hard to pick which one did a better job, though I'm leaning towards Louis Gossett Jr as the older version of Will Reeves. (On a related note, that category has some MAJOR cast spoilers for Watchmen.)

@mark noble,
An Emmy is an "American award bestowed by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) in recognition of excellence in American primetime television programming."

There are two ceremonies: the Daytime Emmys (honors shows that air between 2am and 6pm) and the Primetime Emmys

In the US, an Emmy is one of the 4 major entertainment awards, along with Grammys (music), Oscars (film) and Tony (theater).

@Rebelofnj,
So they're awards for tv shows - That keep people sat on their arses, wasting away in front of a box - For as long & often as possible?

@mark noble,
I'm fairness, some of the programs appear on the smaller screen. I view Netflix and Amazon Prime shows on computer, tablet or smartphone.

@Sturgis,
In fairness, I don't think someone who doesn't have an operable computer, who has not idea what quality shows Netflix, Hulu etc etc have to offer, and basically has a puritanical outlook on how the world should be run, has any say so in what people choose to do with their down time.

I mean really. We're talking about someone who doesn't understand that if he has someone on ignore, something is weird that they are responding to those people posts.

@Sturgis,
Yes, That's fair, Indeed.

Unto those who need to substantiate their 'minimal' inclination toward 'Rewarding' the 'programming' processes of those who conduct zombies unto acceptable levels of zombiehood.

I sat on my arse, glued to a box, getting fatter, less active and 'Zombie-ing out'
Before I came to this conclusion.

I believe it to be a vital part of the 'inclining' untoward-process.

Works for me - Excuse my opinion - If not your 'cup of tea'.
It 'Is What It Is'.

Have a Lovely Day
