Is it tacky to send anyone any business emails over a holiday weekend?

Hi. As of the time of the posting of this it's Independence Day weekend 2020! Happy Independence Day to the Americans on this site by the way!

I have a business email I would like to send the Continuing Ed Department at my old art school. I want to know if they received the last email I sent them. I know sometimes it takes a while for them to get back to me.

Is it okay to send my email to them over the weekend or should I wait till Monday?

Please help. Thank you.

i would send it on monday @ 9 AM.

that would give your email a better chance of being seen immediately.

if you send it now, it might get buried in their inbox...

The original email I sent was sent on a Sunday at 6-something in the morning. They probably didn't see it. Thank you.
