Other than this site, Yahoo! Answers was the last Q-and-A site I went to before it was permanently shut down a few years ago.
What are the best Q-and-A sites to go to now?
There have to be other places I can go to online where I can get my questions answered. I don't want to just wait around for answers to my questions here.
There were certain sites I used to use but I don't use for a number of reasons.
Please help. Thank you.

The site doesn't have enough people to answer every question immediately. Sometimes folks don't even see your questions, too many of us use this forum as spare time entertainment. No one is receiving a salary to do research for you, that's not meant to be an insult, those of us who are merely casual users only respond when we are interested or appalled by the comment.

I don't use other Q and A sites.
I can normally answer my own questons using google and wikipedia.
Doing one's own research is more rewarding that having someone give the answer.
