Hi. Are the pulse rate readings I get from using health monitor apps on my smartphone accurate? I have a few such apps installed on my phone and I used them to measure my pulse rate. All the readings were less than 110. I know normal pulse rate is 100 bpm or less.
Please let me know. Thank you.
Hi. I'm being serious. As of the time of this posting I recently had an appointment with my physician. According to my physician and her assistants, my blood pressure was normal but my pulse rate was 110 bpm. As I said a normal pulse rate is 100 bpm or lower. I'm concerned about my weight and my pulse rate. Please help. Thank you.
@JGoldman10,
Why didn't you talk to your doctor about this while you were there?
@JGoldman10,
Medical advice is against t&c on A2K.
Ask a doctor!
I'm serious.
@cherrie,
I asked my physician about this when she called me on the phone. She doesn't know. She suggested I ask my cardiologist about this.
@JGoldman10,
So ask your cardiologist. Don't ask us, we're not doctors.
@JGoldman10,
Why don't you make an appt. for a face to face with your doctor and have them take your readings with proper medical equipment?
That way you will know.
Why? What have you heard?
I tried asking my physician about this. One member of the medical staff at my physician's office told me I should get a pulse oximeter. I contacted a vender on eBay about a pulse oximeter I want to buy from him. I want to know if it comes with batteries and what batteries does it use. I'm waiting to hear back from him.
No they aren't. That's why they sell so many of them.
Jeeze, give it a rest.
@bobsal u1553115,
Hello Bob. What are you talking about?
The pulse oximeter I ordered off of eBay arrived in the mail. I'm waiting to get batteries for it.
