Read books about the type of government where you are. Read books about government elsewhere in the world. Go to college/university and study Political. Study law. A good knowledge of law can help if you succeed in your goal of being a politician.

Try to get a job working within the government where you are. Work as volunteer for a politician you agree with on issues and learn from them.
