hello
i am new to politics and dont pretend i know much but here's my question
i was watching a film the other night based on a G8 summit where they had a huge debate over goals set in 2000 about solving poverty in africa.
obviously it was just a film and had a focus on a relationship between two main characters, but it said a lot about the milennium goals and i was wondering if anyone saw the film and what exactly will happen to them at the summit.
also, can the public have a say in where they get placed in the agenda? cos on the film it mentioned considering each countries own economy and saving theirs before helping africa while a child dies in africa every three seconds.
is it true that these eight men can give the right to live? and make decisions for our country with us having no say?
