If that's really the case why don't we just nuke Iraq and bring our soldiers home and spend all this money on our own country instead of rebuilding Iraq?
Furthermore when a country does something to us let's just send a bunch of pilots over there, bomb the goddam **** out of them and that's it. No help rebuilding, no photo ops with chocolate bars in front of orphanages, none of that bullshit. Destroy 'em and leave their asses in the breeze. We have work to do at home.
Surely even the most die hard supporters know that no one in bushco or any other politician for that matter gives a rats ass about civilians in other countries, so let's spend our money at home and put America first.
Of course, that would be a lot of war profiteering down the drain, so it won't happen.
We tried the 'bomb the **** out of them' during the eight years of the Clinton regime. That worked about as well as a rubber crutch.
We would only need to nuke, however, the northern portion of Iraq. That would rid of those pesky people... then the southern portion would let the oil flow.
We could pay for some of this damned war that way. SCRAMBLE THE PLANES!

Don't confuse token bombing with bomb the **** out of them.....
Sorry you must be talking about some special angry bear bomb the **** out of them level unknown to man before!

All that radiation must have made me forget about all the nukes CLinton used...
Makes me wonder what else has stopped......... Excuse me, I better go see if "it" still works.
Clinton's "Bomb the **** out of em" would be covered by one months mess bill for this war. The war profiteering is a reason for initiating and carryin on a war like this. See how everything fell into place
1 All the intelligence was fixed around the "Reasons and rationale" to start a war.(WoMD, eevil man, hanging around with known terrorists, giving terrorists refuge etc , blah blah)
2The "subcontract services " for activities that would have usually been Quartermaster duties were given to the Vice Presidents company from which he still benefits in deferred options GIVEN, not purchased
3Chances to bolsterstock portfolios heavily invested in Armaments and oil.
BVT is too kind.
While we are at it we could as you say bomb the **** out of all the countries that don't like us. Than of course we be depopulating almost the entire planet.
farmerman, You've missed all the "positives" that have come out of our war with Iraq. 1) more ME countries are considering democracy (as Bush wanted), 2) we haven't had a attack on US soil since 9-11, 3) Saddam is behind bars, 4) defense contractors are getting rich off this war (and in turn the stock holders), 5) Israelis and Palestinians are talking about 'peace,' and 6) Osama disappeared.
