The guy is an idiot if he didn't expect the "stunt" to be offensive. People looking at the photos and viewing the stunt are not experiencing anything themselves, they are seeing someone imitating something very sensitive to many people.
It's like the N-word... if your black, your not going to offend other black people in saying it, but if your white, using the word in the same way as black people use it, it is offensive to many black people.
For people who lost relatives or friends who jumped from the building are not going to accept the artistic side of some "artist" who has a controversial form of "work" in the first place when the people in the towers had the opposite of self-fulfilling jobs.
