Have you ever dropped money before if so how much?

It's because I had a $5 in my pants pocket where stuff falls out easily and wanted to get something to eat. I realized almost instantly and I think the guy begging for money took it because I remembered where I was where I think I dropped it.

@singlesucks13,
Blame the homeless person, that takes a lot of effort.

It could have been anyone, I've had homeless people return stuff to me that I've dropped.

@izzythepush,
He wasn't homeless and anyway he was drinking beer. It was because the Liquor store was right across the street.

How do you know he wasn't homeless?

And I've dropped money and I've found money - I figure I probably will come out even in the end.

@singlesucks13,
Doesn't mean it was his house.

@izzythepush,
Should he be considered homeless though if he was staying with someone?

If it isn't his home and he is staying there out of the kindness of someone else.

I would not consider it homeless if he was paying rent

@singlesucks13,
I really don't know how the post turned into wondering if the guy is considered homeless when I originally asked if anyone had dropped money before. How do I delete this topic?

@singlesucks13,
You click on delete, but you can only do it for about ten minutes or so. Any longer than that it's permanent.

If it really was about dropping money? The added context was superfluous. Were you adding flavor to the story? Throwing a red herring into the mystery of the lost money? What was the point of that particular detail?

Yes. I believe I lost $20 of someone else's money. Had to go out and buy ... can't remember what (over 10 years ago) ... likely a pack of cigarettes for a friend. Had to return and grovel and apologize for my sloppiness.
