I'm sure you've heard the saying "Lynn, Lynn, city of sin, never come out the way you went in."
I've heard it 3.3 million times.
That's how it is.
However, I recently found out a fact about Lynn that brings a proud tear to my eye: Lynn is the home of "Fluff," the white, gooey, sugary goodness you spread on peanut butter sammiches. That's right, friends. Fluff. There's one plant in the country that produces the stuff, and it's in Lynn. I grew up there, and never knew about this great history.
So next time you're discussing the land of crackwhores and carjackings, and somebody says "LYNN! HA! Lynn, Lynn, city of sin..." you cut them off and say:
"Au contraire, my good man/woman. Lynn, Lynn, city of Fluff. FLUFF!"
They won't have a comeback for that one.
i'm sure i would be speachless
Yes, you would.
City of Fluff.
What do they make the Fluff out of?
Or is that something I don't want to know?
Massachusetts has some interesting stories like that..Necco wafers and Fig Newtons are amongst the others but, yes my dear friends...Lynn is well known for Fluff...whooda thunk?
Yes, the day I found out may have been my proudest.
City of FLUFF.
FLUFF!
Fluff, Hell. This is Hard News.
Glad you saw that too. I thought I was hallucinating. Again.
Oh it takes Fluff Fluff Fluff
To make a Fluffernutter
Fluff Fluff Fluff
And lots of peanut butter!
Poor poor flashback riddled SP.
Fluff will do that to you.
It sucks you in..and you're all done.
DAMN YOU FLUFF!!!
DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!
Um... the only rhyme that pops into my head for "fluff" is "muff," which just takes us right back where we started.
Omigod...
guff, huff, rough, tough, bluff, buff....
Well, sure, there are all those, but they just didn't fit the joke. How often I've tried to bluff my way into a tough, rough muff.
At least you're buff, right?
puff, stuff, cuff, chuff, guff, ...
Can't get enough tough muff.
Stuff? Man, what we could do with that.
Tough muff's kinda like jerky.
(Okay, I'm outta here now...)
Oh my! Jerky muff..... too much sun bathing?
Er, I can't comment on that.
Beats taffy, though.
I think you already did comment on that.
