@Sturgis,
I've only seen reruns of some of the older movies from the 1950s and 1960s.
Sidney Poitier was probably one of my favorites from watching some of his older movies as reruns on television.
I've seen several of
Poitier older movies as reruns.
I don't remember the names of his movies.
I do remember (Guess Who's Coming To Dinner).
There was another movie where
Poitier was a carpenter or a builder who was just passing through. He ended up stopping at a church and ended up helping the nuns build or fix their church. I can't remember the details of the movie.
I have also been a fan of comedic actor
Steve Martin.
Steve Martin had a special talent to make you laugh and have heartfelt emotional moments.
(Plains Trains & Automobiles) contained many funny moments and heartfelt emotional moments.
Steve Martin skillfully knew how to blend comedy and a touch of drama to many of his roles, His physical comedy was also quite special.
Especially in (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).
