Great Actors and Actresses who I would be hard pressed to miss what they have been in:

Denzel Washington - One of the Greatest of his generation. Possibly best on this list.
Tom Cruise - weird personal life, but great actor
Gene Hackman - Wonderful actor
Clint Eastwood - Has some of the finest characters ever
Nicole Kidman - Pretty sure I have seen everything she has been in. Great character actor
Harrison Ford - a great every man to fill any role. From patient to cop to President to hero
Meryl Streep - Amazing actor, so many classic roles
Tom Hanks - Another actor capable of being any role. Makes everything better
Morgan Freeman - I've seen all of his works. Great actor and that voice!
Leonardo DiCaprio - I remember when he was on Family Ties... Great actor

So, that is my Top 10, there are a lot of fine actors that I recognize they are good, but not my favorites.

Di Nero, Pacino, Nicholson, Brando, Hoffman, Hopkins, Williams, Duvall, Chaplin, Kingsley I mean that list can go on and on forever...

I like your list, except you confused Leonardo Dicaprio with Michael J Fox.
