STOP THE WORLD TO STOP THE WAR
A US led War on Iraq is looking increasingly certain. If war does start there must be massive protests everywhere. Anti war organisations across the globe have agreed a plan for protests on DAY X and the weekend after.
I call on all those oppossed to this unjust war to support the following plans for DAY X protests:
On DAY X
-Join a ten minute solidarity stoppage at Midday. (walk out of work, school college, your house, stop your car - wear a white arm band/ribbon.)
-Protest in your City/town centre at 6pm.
-Mass Demonstrations in Regional Centres the following Saturday at 2pm
I'll do what I can! It's all I can do.
I know that I'll be relying a lot more on
http://www.freespeech.org and KPFA for news, etc.
moveon.org is good for the organized protests, too.
(Just got back from a candlelight vigil a bit ago. The sozlet's first protest. She flashed a peace sign and sang Lennon songs. Ahm so proud...
