Hello All,

Since this is the Europe forum, I figured this question to be apropos: where do you think is the best place to live in Europe? Considering the climate, the people, personal tastes, etc, which city/country do you think has the best of Europe to offer its citizens? Cool

All I can recommend to you is the metropolitan city of
Lippstadt, Germany.

I heard Spain has the weather, the beautiful people, and the laid back attitude that a lot of people like.

I'm going to Italy in two days...I'll let you know if any of those cities are worth a damn when I get back.

Hi, I've just joined after doing to search for the best place to live in Europe and came upon your interesting website!

I still haven't found the best place to live except that the search found Norway the best place to live followed by Ireland as the the best country neither of which excite my imagination! We already live in a great country with order, low crime, great health system, great culture but diminishing slowly through funding cuts still with retirement looming a few years we are looking for some place where the Euro goes further and the climate a bit warmer. Smile

Any ideas anyone?

Actually the best place to live is not in Europe Wink

But if it has to be, I'd probably go for Prag or Budapest.

I would suggest some places with low taxes, a nice surrounding, warm, good restaurants ...

Oh, one of the Channel Islands was already mentioned

Lack a little of sea and beachs..

Sarck island would fit better.

You always have to make concessions in life Francis. I'll
take a great city over the beaches and ocean.

I couldn't live on an island though.

I'd love to, if I can have an espresso in one of the sidewalk
cafes beforehand.

No Walter! I get awfully tired when I drink beer. I would
have to take a nap instead of strolling along Remblas.

I don't really like drinking alcohol during the daytime
as I can't handle it http://www.borge.diesal.de/oh.gif

That's the jet-lag!

It's time for an expresso for CJ and for a beer to us!

Yes, that's a sensible solution.
By the time we're through here, everybody wants to move
to Barcelona Wink
