Divide And Conquer

Interesting re Frist vs McCain. Perhaps what happened to the Republican Party in WA could happen to it nationally. For about 15 years, the state party was taken over by far-right types. They lost every state election, so that now we have Democrats in the Senate and gov. chair. The GOP has wised up and is now choosing more reasonable types, but the damage was done.

I see Frist as the beginning of the end for national GOP rule....

Of course, that could be wishful thinking.
