Interesting.

So it wouldn't be to make yourself feel better at all? It would be because you were thinking about his feelings?

(I'm not trying to ask this sarcastically, I'm just truly interested in the interpersonal psychology behind this...)

Yes! In this case, I would consider his feelings over mine, as I have
the advantage of being taller, so I need to consider his feelings
first.

Back when I ran out and bought a few pairs of flats, I did it so my fellow wouldn't feel badly, or so I told myself. That was centuries ago, really.

Setanta and everybody, the gallery is closed as it takes up a lot of server space (I think) and the server load is heavy lately.

On not running out to buy flats now, all these years later - if I was in love with a man shorter than I am - at my age any man I'd be interested in and he interested in me would be "comfortable in his own skin", as they say, and me too.

Interesting.

So it appears that part of the deal is that it might matter more to the man than to the women as to height...

...gosh, always taking care of our fragile egos, huh? Twisted Evil

Hard to remember, Extra. That was, gag, forty years ago I bought those shoes. I'm sure part of it was to make myself comfortable too. I'm over it now.

Ahem. My dog has short legs...

Hehe, I'm having so much more fun with this avatar - or as my daughter would say: "the mostest fun" (it also could be the two glasses of wine
I shouldn't have drunk). Rolling Eyes

But I must admit, I'd have to think a bit about dating a girl that was 6'2" feet or more.

So I guess I'm subject to the same shallow stuff. She could be great in every way, but gosh if she was like 6'2" that would be different....

I've heard really tall women have trouble getting dates. I guess thats in the 6'2"+ territory.

Ironic, because a lot of times they want models to be tall...

I believe Giselle Buendchen (model) is over 6 feet and
I don't think you would hesitate a second to date her extra....

LOL!

Actually I'm just an ambiguously (a tiny) bit effeminate metrosexual male who likes to smell good!!... Razz

Now why would you think that I am a woman??!?! Evil or Very Mad

Go ahead tell me...be honest, tell the truth, why?

I can take it, I'm tough--and this place is anonymous...

Why, are you a woman??

I should post my pict for a few minutes so everyone can tell I'm pure man... Twisted Evil And I'll have you know I've been told I'm a masculine dude, metrosexualness be dam*ed!

On Calamity's avatar, I always hated those curlers... especially the ones with brushes in them.

On Smorg's, Diane's eyes are like that, truly lovely. Is that you, Smorg?

Tangent, tangent....

For Fashion modeling, women should meet a minimum height of 5'7". However those who do not meet this minimum will not necessarily be turned away. Did you know that Kate Moss is really 5'5"?

For male models 6' to 6'2" is ideal, but we will also consider those whose height ranges between 5'10" and 6'4".

FOR PRINT: We will accept females who are 5'7 and males who are 6'
We also accept females and males who do not meet this height requirement for Fitness/Swimwear

Skinny insects. Mad Those are not to MY specifications!
Nice for photography, but can't do much with a "model". I'd rather be with the real person-type thing.

And, Calamity, men near my age are, I hope, not still worried about a few inches...

I thought you were a woman - because you post like a BIG GIRL'S BLOUSE...as we say here in manchester.

Only joking...I don't know why... I just made an assumption, maybe your posts are just too eloquent, insightful, measured and spelled right! Therefore...you are woman.

But now I know, I won't PM you about my periods!
