Does anyone really believe that, if successful, the present majority in the Senate will limit their anti-filibuster rules to judicial nominations. After all, if there is any justification for a filibuster it should be for judicial nominations, since these positions are for life and cannot be reversed when the country, in time, returns to its senses. This is like the situation in post-colonial Africa where the norm was "one man, one vote, one time", leading to horrible dictatorships. The United States is beginning to go in the same direction and I am very afraid.
