Tim Eyman is a crook, but his fans are willing to forgive him. He lined his pockets with political contributions, was penalized, and how he's back at it again.

The man is shameless. The worst thing that ever happened to the initiative process was the court that allowed payment to signature gatherers. Now crooks like Eyman make a living promoting initiatives playing on people's greed.

Not only not listening, but not paying attention either. BVT, may I remind you, it was Gore who tried to steal the election, after initially conceding.

This has been argued to death here and on every forum around, but the sequence of events remains the same. Thus, my conclusion.

Calling that election "stolen" would have worked no matter who was declared governor. We have our own mini-Karl Rove here, the state GOP chair, who did all he could to steal it for his side.

It feels good for once for Dems to "steal" one. And Eyman is still a crook...

Just imagine if Gore had been elected. He'd have been reporting to this guy:

It's just standard operating procedure for Demos to raise taxes against the wishes of their constituency. It doesn't matter if it is WA, CA, MI, MA, D.C., wherever. "Bend over, this will be good for you".

Demos in Sacramento are already planning to raise taxes now that Arnold is losing some of his luster. Of course, the first they plan to go after are the "wealthy". What they don't tell you is that they consider anyone making over $30K/year "wealthy". They're dispicable, but all those sucking at the money teet love 'em.

We have nukes, I'm sure. Lots of military bases in these parts. It's the Scoop Jackson legacy. Maybe we can take over California. On second thought, not a good idea...
