Good question. I can't answer it.

Guess I'll have to pop off and shoot myself now.

No, really, though -- I continue to live because I know of no better alternative. Habit, really. Also, there's sex and cheese and chips and pot and beer. Oranges are nice, too, when they're ripe. And the sun - the sun is good. I'll stick around to see the sun some more. Now that I'm out of the Pacific NW that means a lot to me. Also, if I died, who would pay back my student loans? I'd hate to leave my lending institutions in the lurch like that. They need me.

Dorothy Parker

Resumé

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

Present emotion. Present cause and effect. Love, happiness, compassion, anger, hatred, sadness. Animals, nature, human contact. Intellect, phillosophy, debate. Journalism, wildlife care, science. Anything and everything, the good and the bad.

The other worlds are too crowded.
That's why I chose this one.

Plus, the hiking is better here.

Watching my grand kids grow, and trying to answer every question they bring to me.

I'd also like to finish that book of mine, and sharee some of my wonderful life's adventures.

I, too, feel no need to find a reason to live; nor need I find a reason to die. Neither is a problem. Reality (?) brought me (?) here and will take me away. Not "MY" problem.

Oh that was Reality?

I thought that was your mom?

"I brought you into this world and trust me, if you keep it up I will not hesitate to take you out of it!" ? Twisted Evil
