Here's a Toyota Corolla and this is kinda nice.
Toyota Camry. I like this one too.
Slappy, I think you may have me heading in a whole different direction
This one os really growing on me. I like it a lot!
That blue BMW is for sale ...
I'm not big on BMW's CJ, but thanks anyway ;-)
The Corolla comes in a S-type with more horsepower than the standard model.
Note the much larger trunk and longer lines in general on the Camry. It has a lot more room inside but is much more subdued as far as styling goes.
I like the Camry better and the more I look at it, the more it's growing on me. The Camry is much more stylish.
I know all about the midwestern and Canadian push to buy american cars. I grew up in Michigan, my Dad owned a business that was distantly related to the auto industry, but when you do business there, you drive american cars. Period.
There's a very telling joke, however, that addresses that very phenomenon, told in Jeopardy format.
A: Mercedes
Q: What do Cadillac dealers drive when they retire?
Most of the cars I've owned have been GM and since I've haven't had many problems with them, I stuck with them. I've had Fords as well and can't complain about those either. I had one Toyota and it was reliable, but it looked cheap and I hated the eeeeeee sound of the engine, which is why I was turned off by Toyota. My son has been trying to tell me that the Toyotas today are much nicer and don't have the eeeeee engine sound anymore, but obviously I didn't listen.
Ha ha. I didn't realize that first one was the same car.
Hey, I'm a big fan of the Toyota Camry. They last for freakin' ever. I drive a Honda civic because I'm a cheap ass, but my dad has had a camry for over 10 years and it's still a nice car.
Most Hondas and Toyotas these days are made in America.
Yeah, I'm liking that Camry and I think that's gonna be the winner :-)
Montana, if the Toyota you drove was from the 80's, you're right...they were made of tin-foil and were cheap cars. Today they're well built, and very quiet.
Now, you just need to trick it out with some bitchin' tail lights and a big f--king spoiler. You own da road beotch!
I love seeing stupid-ass cars like that. I saw a SATURN SL-1 with spinning rims couple weeks ago. Not the hubcaps, but rims..they cost thousandS.
Think I'll go with the SE in package B, which comes with the moon roof, leather seats, and heated front seats.
And the sticker across the windshield that says "No Fear."
I currently drive an Aerostar. I like it because it easily accomodates my hot tub....
