If you are a 21-year-old who gets involved with a 17-year-old, this is the kind of thing that happens. I think it's to her credit that she wants to wait.

I understand that you would be nervous about all of this, but on the other hand I'm not sure there is much you can do except manage it. Her perspective is entirely reasonable given her age.
