"I Punched Saddam in the Mouth"
This is a very interesting article about Samir Mohammad Al-Baaj, the guy that pulled Saddam from his spiderhole.
Good for him. I hope that's a true story. I can only imagine how satisfying that must have been.

I'm surprised you have not suggested we court marshall the soldier for his dasterdly actions.
The thread is still young
What a wuss! I would have killed him.
So does this squelch the story of the Sgt. who claims there was a huge firefight? I find this one a little more beleivable due to the pictures of a bloody Saddam.
Since things are going so well in Iraq with an end to violence, love expressed between Sunni and Shiites, a pro US government taken shape and Democracy flowering in the Middle East...
This story doesn't seem very important any more.
What an interesting story. Hm. Can feel with the guy. From the story: is he Iraqi?

The glass is always half empty with you isn't it.
Not surprised by either of the claims.
Seems that if I'm not there in person, I can't put much weight on the claims made by those who were supposedly there.
If the story is true..........I"m concerned with Samir's statements to Saddam. "I'm going to **** you in the ass and then we're all going to **** you in the ass"?? You've just captured one of the worst despots of the last 20 years and you threaten him with ******* him in the ass?? Abu Ghraib had the same sexual overtones rampant. Que paso??........
