I'm trying to understand the connection between Rev. Moon, Republicans and th Christian Right. Seems they are intermingled, and I can't for the life of me figure out why the Christian leaders such as Schuller, and Lahaye (Left Behind series) would embrace him. He seems rather anti-Christian and against what th Bible teaches.
Perhaps the money is enticing to Republicans such as Bush Sr., Rumsfeld, Reed, and others have latched onto him for that reason as well as positive publicity through his paper. But, I wouldn't think that worth the risk by association.
Didn't Moon used to be considered "weird" and "cultist?" What happened?
And remember the coronation last summer IN THE SENATE OFFICE BUILDING?
