Hi, Can someone help me with translating the expression “ I am flawed if I’m not free” in to a Latin equivalent?

Hi, thanks for your help mate! I have seen another translation somewhere else, “imperfectus sum si non liber”. Is one more literal than the other? Cheers again.

Common sense is telling me that that reads “I’m not perfect if I’m not free” but that’s not what it’s meant to mean. I have no idea though, thanks for your help.

Maybe more along the lines of “my nature is flawed”
