If it is true that Dems want to return us to 1974, then let's look at the bottle as half full.

At least they're only trying to turn the clock back ONE century, and only a third of one at that.

You've got to be bloody joking.

Republicans for the New Deal? For expanded workers rights? Expanded rights to unionize? Government-funded employment programmes? Social Security as public service? Federal housing programmes for poor people? An increased role for the United Nations?
