George Bush is a lot of things -- but "quite smart" most assuredly is not one of them.
I understand that you are impressed with him and his agenda -- and I acknowledge that under different circumstances I might also. But I hope that I would never get so carried away as to call him "quite smart."
Without intending any condescension, let me say that I did get a kick out of the remark, though, and I thank you for the laugh.
