I read that quote, Don'tTread, and thought for a minute there she was talking about the situation in the USA. "Centralization of state power in the presidency at the expense of countervailing institutions like [the legislative branch]or an independent judiciary" seems like a perfect description of what's been happening in Washington, DC over the past five years now.
