Milka, Milka and Milka again Wink

Although ehbeth's choice is very good too, I love Hazelnut chocolate. Awfully rich though, you can't eat that much.

Nine hundredy grams, eh? That's damned close to two pounds. I like the idea of the single serving size.

I agree. I found these cookies though, l'petite ecolier (the little schoolboy) -can't remember the company that makes them, but they are shortbread topped with either milk, hazelnut or dark chocolate- just the right amount. All the varieties are incredible in their own way- I'm a chocoholic too. They sell them in the US as well as in the UK in supermarkets under specialty cookies/buiscuits.

US chocolate bars- hershey w/almonds, nestle's crunch, almond joy
UK - no contest - Mars bar
This is so scary - I can't believe how much I've enjoyed talking about this. Great thread material girl.

Heeven-I was surprised and pleased to find that a crunchie bar has 1 less calorie that a supposed 'diet' chocolate bar which was around a few years back.

I just bought a Snickers, a small one which makes a change.Maybe this is why Im not losing any weight!Ya think?

Apparently I read that too quick. Was beginning to beam at the thought that a crunchie bar was less an one calorie. Getting ready to scarf a dozen of the suckers!

Yep, when I go home (to Ireland) or have anyone visit me here, a large selection of chocolate is brought back. I generally don't indulge in the chocolate here in the U.S. My tastebuds are so used to choccie with all the good stuff left in that I find the American chocolate bland.

Some sites point out that a Snickers bar has about the same nutrient value as a number of 'health' bars, and the same calorie count. That was a bit of a surprise when I first read it - and confirmed it - by looking at the dang bars.

The Petit Ecolier cookies are good, though a bit much sometimes. A nice treat - one Ecolier with about 3 cups of tea.

I like the Petit Ecolier because they come in those handy single serving, one pound packages.
