I really wanted the crab salad, but no Dungeness crab, so I asked the waitress for a recommendation. She said I should try the prawn salad, so that's what I had with a glass of the house cab. It was very good.

You need to come to the East Coast, I'll make you and your wife crab cakes with Chesapeake Bay blue channel crab that will make you boycott Dungeness.

Thanks for the offer, and who knows, we might take you up, since our travels are now restricted to the US and Canada. When you come to the West Coast, we have the giant redwood forest (Muir Woods), the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley in addition to the wine country in Sonoma, Napa, and Lodi with the many variety of grape vineyards and wines which are some of the best in the world.
