I agree with that. and i would say my favorite comedy would have to be either Eeasy Money, or The Producers. Napolean Dynamite is up there too.

Towed in a Hole starring Laurel and Hardy, for me it was the best comedy ever.

I loved the scary movies, especially the butler with the hand!!!!!!!Ive heard there is a SM3 which Ive never seen.

Death Becomes Her is funny, just lots of little things, not obvious.

Ive never heard so many people laugh so much than when I went to see South Park-The movie. It was hilarious.

I like Spinal Tap, Best in Show and... what was the other one about the folk singers? They're all with the same basic cast. When I first tuned into Best In Show, I thought it was a serious documentary. Had to check the showtimes and make sure I caught it from the beginning. Hadn't laughed so hard in a long time. Can watch these over and over.

Ya gotta love the soundtrack from the folk singer one!

Young Frankenstein, by far. The first time that I saw it, I laughed for two hours. The remarks and sight gags are hilarious.

Laughing

This was great.....I laughed my butt off.... Laughing

I always loved the Naked Gun movies...they are those literal slapstick movies.

"Surely, you must be joking...."

"I'm not joking...and don't call me Shirley."

Airplane is a classic.

Squinney, you're thinking of "A Mighty Wind," I think. That is a funny movie.

Napolean Dynamite is genius. Stupid, but funny. I've always dug Billy Madison too. Office Space, good stuff.

Office Space makes me laugh because it is true...the life of a cubical dweller.

Squinney, I love all those "documentary" movies too. Have you seen "Waiting for Guffman"? It's by the same guys and is about community theater. Hilarious.

"Young Frankenstein" (Phoenix and I do sometimes agree!") "Put the candle back..."

"Some Like It Hot" "Well, nobody's perfect."

"What's Up Doc" Barbra is much better camping it up and being completely mad cap than being serious.

And the film that inspired "Doc," "Bringing Up Baby." Cary Grant in a woman's bathrobe.

Finally,

"Sideways" Wine is funny? Yes, it is.

"Friday" with Ice Cube and introducing Chris Tucker as Smoky. I saw it on video and had to stop the tape more than once. It was insane.

Yes! "A Mighty Wind"... Thanks Slappy. Waiting for Guffman was also funny but my least favorite of all of them if I had to pick.

Saw a program about this series and evidently it was ad-lib. OMG! How do people come up with this stuff off the tops of their heads???

Sing along now: Yes, a mighty winds a blowin... It's blowin you and me.

Also thought Airplane and Young Frankenstein were funny when I saw them at 13, but don't think I would find them as funny now.

"A day on earth" is about 5 cab drivers in 5 cities around
the world. Funny as hell - especially the cab driver in Rom.

"Best in Show" is my favorite too.

"Rosalie goes shopping" - a German housewife married to
a Pilot flying these pesticide planes in Iowa forges cheques
and credit cards to buy her "Liebling" all the goodies he
wants. Her daily confessions to the local priest clear her
conscience. Quite funny, more of a cult film.
