Oh, that's cool! Yeah, it's evocative that way.
Actually the title is Nude with Bicycle. I thought Woman after Wild Ride would fit with this thread. It took me around 45 minutes to do the painting, as it was in one of those advanced painting classes where the time passes fast; canvas is 4 x 5 feet, and ain't for sale - I still like it and want to keep it, after a bunch of time and circumstance.
Edit to say I wish I had two of them, to see what would happen if I developed it now...
but, no.
It's had Woman with Flaming Bicycle as a title at some point too.
Smile.
Damn, Osso, you're artistic and ****.
e' merda italiano? In italiano? oh, never mind.
May all your bicycles flame from now on..

I this is so cool. watercolor?
No, oil, and much richer than in the photo.
I thought of it as a great half hour spent...
sadly, all these years hence, I cannot remember the model in my mind.
(Ne'er mind the model that turns up in paintings, there is a real person there trying not to move and waiting desperately for a break).
Would you believe how much of a difference tire pressure makes? Followed an advice of a biker friend and finally pumped up to 120, and man, did I fly! am sore all over now, but it was well worth it.
I know what you mean, Dag. Mr B pumped up my tires today and we flew through 25 miles of road and trails. I'm not moving too much right now, but the ride was great.
I have no riding friends around my part of the world so I ride alone, strictly street. Slap on the headphones wid the VH and I love it.
Yeah! I need headphones. I just hate the sound of cars sneaking up on me.
lol, roger, that sounds really safe! (i think that's my first 'lol' ever - i hate those buggers).
do NOT ride around city with headphones, blue!!! i take an ipod along, but only use it when i'm on the bikepath or in the wide open countryside and even then i don't feel safe.
ouch. been biking all week. can barely move. every little thing, even muscles i'd swear i don't have, hurt. MUST go for a ride tomorrow. it's a weekend, right? ouch, limping to bed.
it's raining. and i cannot move. screw it. maybe tomorrow.
I think there's supposed to be a break in the rain at some point..... Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy too. I so wish I could ride my bike to work. Damn kids.
I decided to take a ride over to the Watertown RMV to register my bike, and take the bike, of course. Show up, it's closed, walk outside, and it's pouring. Sweet.
doh! So, how's the new bike?
