I thought for sure I would see this thread in here, even Featured. Granted I didn't look very hard (past page one), but still!

What's your favorite song at this very moment?

I'm going with "Holiday" by Green Day. Probably the best song I've heard so far this year.

The Glamorous Life by Sheila E. (this song's about me, ya know?)

I've been on an 80's kick lately, and I found this great CD called 80's Club which has been the only cd I've listened to for the past month.

In This River by Zakk Wylde

A piano ballad written by this guy:

About this guy:

The latter of course being Dimebag Darrell who was tragically slain about 3 months ago. This is the only song poignant enough to bring tears to the eyes of the heaviest metal head. Crying or Very sad

They have 4, as far as I know. Exile on Coldharbour Lane, La Peste, Power in the Blood, and Last Train to Mashvile, Vol. 2. I don't have Power in the Blood, and I've been looking for a while. I might cave and order it online. Last Train to Mashville is a neat little record; they play a bunch of the songs from the other albums with just acoustic instruments, and it's really country. The sound fits them very well.

I've really been stuck on "Holiday" too.

Reminds me so much of The Clash.

The Funeral March by Chopin.

No, seriously...I've never heard a proper version of it before, and it really is a staggeringly beautiful piece.
