So I Melted My Hair

I got a bit heavy handed with the bleach today, and it's full on melted, like a cross between pasta and chewing gum, coming out in gobs.

Is it possible to keep my hair? Once it air dries, can I get away with putting on the dye I was planning on (it's banana yellow, no developer or anything involved), and just NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN, or does it need to go?

I just don't think I'd look great with a buzzcut, haha.
