Hi, so I'm hoping someone can answer a few questions about highlights. First of all, would I have to style my hair if I got them? I usually straighten my hair after washing it since it's thick and gets wavy underneath. Would I have to curl the tips to make it look good? Also, I have really dark hair (most people assume it's black but it's actually a dark brown). What sort of color should I ask for highlights? Someone suggested a carmel color to me.
Anyways, sorry if these are stupid questions but I've never done anything to my hair before, so I figured I'd ask before going through with it
