@parados,
Parados, you are a sad sad example of a misguided liberal that apparently thinks it is your mission here to catch any conservative, especially me, in some kind of contradiction. I would be interested in what you actually do for a living. Are you some kind of activist lawyer or something, or do you work for some Democratic or liberal activist political group? That would be the only way to explain some of your outlandish and extremely partisan views expressed here. You don't have to answer, as I am not anxious to give out personal information either, but I am not ashamed of the fact that I worked for a major energy company as a geologist for many years, then ran my own business for the second half of my working career. Perhaps an answer from you would help explain why you believe much of what you apparently believe.
Jeremiah Wright hating America, an interesting question. It may surprise you to know that no, I doubt he hates America. I do believe that he has some very deep hangups and resentments about the country, which is abundantly evident by what he has said in his rants in his church. I think the man is extremely misguided and bitter about a few things. Obviously he and Obama are not exact clones, but I think they have similar views about things, including politics. I also think that his religion and his politics are almost interchangeable, similar to how Obama also feels about them.
I hope that helps you figure it out, parados. I think my views are very much in line with mainstream conservative thinking and conservative assessment of Obama and Wright. We do not think they are friends or associates by accident, and that is why we thought the relationship should have had a whole lot more examination and analysis cast upon that situation during the campaign by all news organizations.
