And there's the additional burden & cost I mentioned.

Politicians should think things through before wasting out time like this.

i am surprised that you dont favor this expanded tax on consumption as the lower classes pay a lot of it.

@hawkeye10,

Replace the ever expanding tax code in it's entirety with the FairTax plan and I'll support it.

@cicerone imposter,

What I'm saying is that you live in a fantasy world if you think this
will not result in an additional burden and cost to doing business.

@H2O MAN,
Actually, you're the one living in a fantasy world. Government will tax its citizens - no matter where you live. That's a FACT proven by the overwhelming evidence. Learn to live with it; you can't beat the system.

@H2O MAN,
You can't just use words like "wrong," and not explain why I'm wrong.

Those a simple rules of debate.

@H2O MAN,
If you question any of my post, you only look stupid by not explaining what you mean by your stupid adverbs and adjectives.

You don't know how to debate anywhos. Mr. Green

FYI, the title of this thread is "Where is the US economy headed?"

That's a question - in case you missed it.

Dow at Record Highs, but U.S. Economy Continues to Worsen

Quote:
So despite the Dow continuing to trade at record levels and the labor market improving, we are nowhere near a recovery, as the media is claiming. In fact, we may be closer to a financial crisis. In other words, the housing recovery is suspect, so avoid housing at the current levels; the country may be under the threat of another recession and financial crisis

@Advocate,
They've gone insane, because they just can't stand a black president being so successful! Their world has turned upside down. LOL

That's after all they have done to try and defeat everything Obama has done since he was elected the first time.

The gun lobby and the GOP are now talking about accumulating their firearms and destroying our government by force.

THEY ARE INSANE.
