Happy Birthday to Bean--and congratulations to you. You've survived the first year and are ready to become the mother of an inquisitive toddler.

Count on some gray hair before Bean's next birthday.

Happy birthday bean from soz and the sozlet! (Sozlet laughed and laughed at the chocolate face pic.) (We have a similar one from when she was almost 2 -- her first Halloween and her first taste of chocolate. She quickly became a biiiig fan...)

Happy birthday Bean! And to echo Noddy, congratulations to Shewolf. I really felt that the first year was the hardest part of having children. On to the fun of toddlerhood!

Happy Birthday, Bean!

Wonderful pics, Shewolf. Did she object to the curlers coming out?

mmmm, chocolate ice cream sounds pretty good.

No she never objected to the curlers.
In fact, when she saw gramma ( my mom ) with them in her hair she started grabbing at them, got one free, and pushed it into her hair. So we took a few extra from gramma and put them in bean's hair. She loved it!!!! Then we stood her in her play pen to take pictures and she couldnt keep her finger tips off of them. She would touch one, giggle, try to look up at them ( wich ment falling backwards ) and touch one again, giggle, fall backwards.. etc. etc. A riot.

She got a blow up ball pin (like the ones at Mcdonalds, ) and good-god-tons of clothes. Blocks, books, a bathrobe and a few other things. She made out like a bandit!

there will be more pictures... as soon as I finish uploading them. :-)

Yes, survival of the first year is accomplished. Actually, Im surprised SHE survived!! hahah
Time to forge on to the toddler years.
oh jeezee... can I be scared yet?
;-)

Happy Birthday, Bean!

And Happy Birth-day, Shewolf!

First birthdays are even more fun for moms than for the birthday babes themselves. Glad you took lots of photos so you can remember all the fun!

During her chocolate eating experience, she learned that chocolate
and pineapple juice dont go very well together...

That fart picture is blackmail for later on in life! Twisted Evil

She makes that face when she has to fart and it takes some effort... I have never gotten it on camera until now.
Her first boyfriend better watch out!! HAHahaha
