Okay, this is just a guess but I would say retail sales.

My second guess would be spas/salons.

My third guess would be bar/restaurants.

<sigh>

In my experience, the majority of managers/senior supervisors in Human Resources/Personnel departments have been female.

Phoenix, When I volunteered for the local civil grand jury for the 2003-2004 term, we investigated many social services departments of Santa Clara County. From what we observed, it seemed to me that men and women were equally represented in the management staff. The big honcho is a guy, but the "second in command" is a woman.

c.i.- What I have found is that the administrators of social service agencies are predominantly men, but the managers and supervisors of various departments and programs are mostly women. That is probably because more women enter the social work field than men.

In a way that is kind of sad. I can remember once telling a guy who worked for me, and wanted to go into social work, that he had a good shot at getting into administration of an agency BECAUSE he was a man. Sad
