Everybody alwasy says their favorite beer is some kind of micro-brew from a local brewery. And it's very rare you can find it outside a certain state or neiborhood in bottles.
What's everybody's favorite beers that they can actually buy at the supermarket anywhere in the country.
For me it's Newcastle and Negra Modelo
good stuff ten
I've answered this before but:
Tsing Tao with Chinese
Sam Adams with BBQ
Amstel Light with my dad
Boddington's Pub Ale for watching sports.
These are all in your supermarket beer case.
I rarely drink beer, but when I do, I can buy my favorite
German beer at the supermarket
Harpoon IPA (I'm not sure it's totally national)
Sierra Nevada
Corona

I used to drink Olympia beer, but it is closed now.
I used to drive by the Olympia brewery every day, Satt. "It's the water."
According to a website:
Quote:Now the plant has new owners who will be bottling the famous artesian water, but it's not yet known what will become of the Old Brewhouse.

I've only tasted Olympia beer once. That was enough. Cheap as dirt, though.
What are your favorite cheap beers?
I almost miss the college days with keystone and natural light.

Low alcohol.
I don't drink cheap beer. The buzz isn't worth the roiling gut I get when I do.
Cheap beer? Coor's light is cheap beer now, where in college it was expensive. But for cheap, cheap beer...Natty light. It's not that bad. I'd rather drink that than a plain Bud.
I used to buy 30 packs of Genny Ice...it may have been the most vile liquid I've ever consumed. But I could afford it, and it was strong. $10.99 for a 30.
The cheapest beer? I believe that was at the Jo'burg airport lounge. If I remember correctly, a pint cost about .15c.
Bud Ice, natural ice- I knew that stuff was cheap when I found out it's what all the frats served. I wasn't in a frat, but dam do I have some stories about them.
