What does this endless list mean? Absolutely nothing. You have posted it in order to shock the liberal audience, (hey dudes, look at the appalling conservative economic policy, they cut social spending and ask for more money for Iraq). But you provide no evidence of the amount of money which these programs cost, no information about how much money could these cuts save to reduce deficit. You don't take into account their size. You just thought:" it would be nice to post this list. There are so many programs which look so left-wing "

Not to mention the interference in the economic activity due to these subsidies and other so called social programs which you devotedly support. About economy, there is only one true idea: we know too little to allow the government to take action actively on issues where only individual initiative should be concerned.

there is some merit to what hayden said, dooks, in that there are no dollar amounts listed. other than that i don't get the "liberal looking program" thing either.

now, if conservatives are all that concerned about the financial health of the country and reducing the largest deficit in american history, perhaps rather than cutting funds to programs such as education that benefit all americans, they would be interested in seeing frivolous programs that "promote marriage" done away with. they might insist that their be no more wasted dollars creating faith based prisons. a person that really cared about cutting the deficit (a chunk of which has been and still is the ongoing war and aftermath of the iraq invasion) and keeping our country strong would not complain bitterly about paying the taxes required to so.

wouldn't they ?
